What we collect

The calculators run entirely in your browser. Deposit amounts, dates and rents you type are never sent to our servers; they appear in the page address only so you can bookmark or share a calculation. We have no accounts, stored forms or email lists.

Like most websites we collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, time of request) for security and to count visits. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are used. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects usage data under Google's privacy policy.

Advertising and cookies

This site is funded by display advertising. We use Google AdSense and may use other third-party advertising vendors. These vendors, including Google, use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' cookies at aboutads.info. Vendors serving ads on this site are listed on Google's ad technology providers page.

If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom or Switzerland, you will be shown a consent message before advertising cookies are set, and you can change your choice at any time via the link in the site footer.

Third-party links

We link to statutes, agency pages and, in some places, landlord or tenant services. Some of those may be affiliate links, in which case the destination may set a cookie to attribute a sign-up to us. Those sites have their own privacy policies.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you. Since we collect nothing beyond standard logs and analytics, the practical route is to clear your cookies and use the opt-out links above. For anything else, contact us.
